Photo almost certainly taken at same time as this well know photo from 1909: "Polo Grounds, view from Coogan's Bluff" Seen at: Getty Images. Note the windows in the foreground are at a different angle in the two photos. Interesting note: Luna Park sign in center of photo. Size: 8"x5.25". Stamped "FROM GEORGE GRANTHAM BAIN / 82 UNION SQUARE EAST, N.Y. / This Picture not to be resold / for your use only.", which partial covers stamp: "Culver Pictures, Inc. / 660 First Avenue / New York 16, N.Y. / This Picture is loaned for one reproduction only. 1929-09-24 Stadium World Series	1929 Chicago Cubs home Wrigley Field Aerial view of Wrigley Field where the first two games of the 1929 World Series were played, Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Athletics. Tag states new bleachers under construction. Size: 8.5x6.5, Game at Wrigley Field on 1929-09-24. Tag date: 9-24-29. Stamped Date: OCT23 1929. Stamped: Associated Press Photo.
1930-09-22 Stadium World Series	1930 World Series at Sportsmans Park in St. Louis Aerial view of Sportsmans Park in St. Louis where Games 3, 4 & 5 of the 1930 World Series were played. Philadelphia Athletics would win the World Series, 4 to 2 games. From 1920–1953, Sportsman's Park was the home field of both the St. Louis Browns (now Baltimore Orioles) and the St. Louis Cardinals. It was renamed Busch Stadium in 1953 after the Browns left for Baltimore. The Cardinals continued here until May 8, 1966. Size: 10x8. Game at Sportsmans Park in St. Louis. 1935-06-21 Stadium	1935 Comiskey Park Photo of the lower deck at Comiskey Park in Chicago. The stamp on back states Jun 21 of 1935, which this was not take from since only 597 were in the stands that day and 542 the day before, both games against the Boston Braves. 50,000 is written on the back. No record attendance of anywhere near 50,000 was prior to that date for 1935 nor for all of 1934. This was probably taken at the first All-Star game, which was at Comiskey Park on July 6, 1933 where 49,200 were in attendance. Size: 10"x7" Stamped Date: 6/21/1935.
1937-04-20 Stadium	1937 Cincinnati Reds Opening Day at Crosley Field Aerial Photo of Crosley Field taken by Cincinnati Enquirer Newspaper Photographer Dan Henry. Stamped on reverse: "Air Photo by Dan Henry Lunken Airport Cincinnati, O." and JUL 8 1938. Written on back is Opening Day Crosley Field 1937.
1938-01-01 Stadium	1938 Chicago White Sox home Comiskey Park photo by George Burke Photo, by George Burke, is most likely from 1930's. Lights were installed in 1938, so this photo is from prior to that. It is believed that the white wording was painted on the roof in 1927 and then painted over when the lights went up. About George Burke from Sports Collectors Daily: "George Burke remains one of the most famous and collected baseball photographers. Based out of Chicago, Burke shot some of the iconic images of the days' stars including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmy Foxx, Dizzy Dean and Joe DiMaggio, was the official photographer for several teams and provided the photos for the Goudey and Play Ball baseball card sets." Size: 6"x4" Postcard. Stamped on reverse: Burke & Brace, photo 2638 NO. Drake Ave. Chicago 47 Ill. This stamping was from after Burke had a stroke in 1948 till his death in 1951.

1938-09-23 Stadium	1938 Forbes Field home of Pittsburgh Pirates Aerial/Elevated view of Forbes Field in Pittsburgh (most likely taken from the Cathedral of Learning Building at University of Pittsburgh). Note no lights and the The Pirates were favored to go to the World Series in late-September. They then lost 6 of 7, and were edged out by the Chicago Cubs. Forbes Field hosted four World Series: 1909, '25, '27, '60 and two All Star Games: 1944 & 1959. It was also the location of Babe Ruth's last homerun, his 714th, on May 25, 1935. Size: 9x7.
