Website: findlaymarketparade.com Roles: Principal Consultant, Developer Technologies: Drupal, Photography Findlay Market Parade, started in March of 2010, is an informational and fun site about one of baseballs grandest events celebrating opening day in Cincinnati, OH. The site contains a history of Cincinnati Reds Opening Day from official Cincinnati Reds Team Historian, Greg Rhodes. There is also a collection of Opening Day Stories provided by the Owner of the Cincinnati Reds, Bob Castellini, Mr. Perfect, Tom Browning and a host of Cincinnati Television and Radio Personalities. The focus of the site is to allow visitors the ability to get information about the parade as well as view photos from past parades. Starting with the 2011 parade, Gladish Solutions has been set with the task of providing, editing and posting 100 photos each year from the parade. The site has had significant growth over the past several years and has had many sites linking to it, while never spending a dollar on ads. Some of these links include most Cincinnati based news orginizations as well as an article in Sports Illustrated: 20 ways to improve baseball right now (#1 Make Opening Day a national holiday ... officially starting the season ...) and ESPN references the site's history of Opening Day. Pinterest has several pins on findlaymarketparade.
